Jamtli Archaeology

We work with questions related to the cultural landscape, with specific focus on prehistory and ancient remains. Apart from supplying advice to public authorities, companies and the public in general, we are extensively involved in commission-based projects. We do archaeological inquiries, excavations, and inventories in forests and mountains. We also supply information about ancient remains and carry out pedagogical activities in the landscape.

Geographically, our focus is Jämtland and mid-Sweden, but we also participate in various projects on the Norwegian side of the border, especially in Tröndelag.
