Jamtli manages an art collection of about 2000 works – principally paintings, writings, graphic art and sculpture.
Jamtli wants to show regional art in a historic as well as in a contemporary perspective. Many of Jämtland's finest artists are represented, alongside renowned names from the national art scene.
The painter Anton Genberg was a main promoter when the collection was founded in 1912. Since then, The Jämtland Arts Association has worked to manage and increase the collection.
