Jamtli Christmas Market
"Jamtli Julmarknad" the second weekend of Advent has over the past 20 years become something of a must for young and old alike. The historical buildings at Jamtli create a wonderful setting where 20.000 visitors and 200 vendors of genuine handicraft meet each other in a unique Christmas atmosphere.The children can participate in the Christmas preparations workshop at Hackåsgården, ride ponies or go for a sleigh ride.
The IBU Biathlon World Cup takes place in Östersund the same week.
