Disabled visitors:
Jamtli continuously works to improve accessibility. The following resources are at the visitors’ disposal: - Wheelchairs and walking frames- Portable ramps
- Portable neck loops for the CD-guides
- Neck loops for the guided visits
- Hearing loops in the Rentzhog Auditorium
- Headlamps
Parking:
The open air grounds are car free during the Historyland season and during special events. A parking lot is situated near the entrance. (See map below)
Barbecue:
Barbecue and similar activities are allowed only with special permission.
Smoking:
Smoking is not allowed in the museum or in the historical buildings and milieus.
Camping:
Camping is prohibited.
Photography:
To take photographs or record videos indoors is only allowed at the entrance level and in the main exhibition hall downstairs.

How to get here
Jamtli is situated right outside central Östersund. A walk from Stora Torget takes about 10 minutes. Bus nr 2 (Lugnvik) departs from Kyrkgatan in the town centre and stops at Jamtli. A parking lot is situated 50 meters from the entrance.Map >>
